Afon Wen station seen from the north side, looking east in 1964 towards platform 3. It was the platform that was most commonly used by trains from Bangor and other parts of London Midland Region of British Railways. The footbridge in the foreground provided access to the station from the approach road. The white house in the distance, left of the line, was used by the stationmaster.
