Station Name: AINSDALE BEACH
The
site of Ainsdale Beach Station in December 2005 - looking towards the
north. The station was located between the pub on the left and the railway
cottages on the right on what is now Coastal Road which heads off into
the background. The road that crosses from left to right now forms part
of a roundabout but would have been a level crossing prior to the line's
closure. This is taken from a similar viewpoint as the picture above.
