The final train into Angel Road from Bishops Stortford arrives at Angel Road at 19.52 on the last day of service. A small number of enthusiasts were there to record the event.

The last train to depart from Angel Road was the 19.52 service to Stratford. It arrived and departed without ceremony and was no different to a normal service train.

Looking north from the recently opened Meridian Water station at the closed Angel Road station on 3 June 2019; the official closure date of Angel Road. All station furniture, signs and the footbridge have already been removed. The footbridge can be seen behind the fence at the back of the up platform. It is not known if Pilning station have been successful in their campaign to have the bridge
relocated there.
