1898 1:10,560 OS map.

Looking south from the site of the road bridge next to South Barham Farm.   The railway runs to the left of the footbridge over the river bed. The hill on the left is Breach Down and on the right Jumping Down (or Little Switzerland).

Greenhills bridge. During WW2 a German bomber crashed to the right hand side of the bridge where a house now stands on the trackbed.

Greenhills bridge number. As with the number on the Railway Hill abutment, this has also been repainted.

The bridge support on the opposite side of the road at Greenhills.

You can clearly see the line of the railway against the hill at Out Elmstead.  This is at the corner of Out Elmstead Lane and Valley Road.

View from the bridleway which runs from directly opposite Out Elmstead Lane to the hills.   The is where the bridleway crosses the track bed and is looking south.

Taken from the same position as above but looking north.

Covet Lane bridge looking east.

Identification on Covet Lane bridge.

Covet Lane bridge looking west.

The track bed (bridleway) from north side of Covat Lane bridge – looking north.

View from the track bed above Covet Lane Bridge to the road below.
