Barnoldswick station looking south c. 1960s. Working a class B stopping train is 84015, a Riddles -designed Standard Class 2, 2-6-4 tank. Built in 1953, it entered service on 2 October at Low Moor shed and had a working life of just over 12 years, when it was withdrawn from Eastleigh shed on 11 December 1965; it was cut up by the Central Wagon Co. in February 1966.
