old29.jpg) 42546 has run round its coaches, and passengers are now arriving for the 2.05pm special for Skipton Gala on 27 June 1961. This train had nine carriages and was the main departure for the gala, as many people worked on Saturday mornings at that time. The push-and-pull train also made a couple of extra journeys outwards and around seven return trips, enabling people to return between 4pm and 11pm.
