8.19am passenger service to Skipton leaving Barnoldswick on 1 August 1964. By this time the line carried very few passengers other than school children. Built at Derby works to a design by Sir Henry Fowler, 42394 entered service on 22 June 1933 as 2394. This Class 4 passenger tank received the ‘4’ prefix at nationalisation in 1948 and lasted in service until withdrawal from Holbeck shed in June 1966 and scrapping at Drapers of Hull.
