A single-coach passenger train is seen at Barnoldswick station c. 1930s. Built in 1892 to a design by Johnson, this 1P, 0-4-4t emerged from Dubs and Co. works in the March. It was renumbered to 58061 by BR in 1948 and lasted in service until November 1950, when it was withdrawn from Skipton shed to be scrapped at Derby works shortly after. Note the large timber goods shed with an awning over and adjacent siding in the background.
