A rare view of the nicely maintained station from the forecourt side in May 1977. The two-storey part nearest the camera is the former stationmaster's house. The public entrance was where the porch now stands; this led into the ticket office and then onto the up platform via a set of round topped double doors similar to those once found at numerous other GER stations. Note the lamp bearing the Bottisham name. It is not known if the lamp is genuine.
