old24.jpg) The ‘Chevy Chase’ railtour formed of a 6-car DMU calls at Bedlington on the afternoon of 26 April 1986. This tour made a couple of visits to the station as it toured the Blyth & Tyne, taking the Cambois (North Blyth) branch on its travels. The station buildings are to the right, off the picture, and Bedlington North signal box is ahead.
