Looking north towards the site of the Birkenhead Junction Golf Club Platform in September 2006. To the left is the Hawarden Bridge to Bidston line. The trees to the right mark the site of the Chester Northgate to Birkenhead Junction (later Hawarden Bridge North Junction and then Dee Marsh Junction). The junction itself was at the point where the trees meet the Bidston line. The golf club platform was just to the north of the junction.
