Station Name: BLYTH 2nd site

Blyth station concourse, looking north c1968, several years after closure to passengers. The ladies’ waiting room retains its sign. The more modern brickwork (right, foreground) enclosing an window frame dates from c1933 when the station entrance was relocated to the north, and a new booking office was placed behind the window and linked with the parcels office.
