Station Name: BOTTISHAM & LODE

Photo by Laurie Barber Nine years after the previous two pictures were taken the building is still empty and unused and is gradually being engulfed by undergrowth. All of the windows and doors have been securely boarded up to deter damp and vandals. The degraded down platform now has a line of conifers planted along it, presumably marking a property boundary.

Photo by Nick Catford This undated aerial view is probably c2010. The site of the Station Road level crossing is on the right. The main station building, complete with goods lock-up, is in the centre with the down platform waiting room still standing amongst the conifers that have been planted along the down platform. Two railway cottages are seen alongside the station approach road.
