Broadway Station Gallery 3: May 1969 - April 2014 Looking north at Broadway goods yard from the rear cab of D1749. The goods yard has already ceased working, and sheds have been built on the goods dock (since removed again). The rails were lifted in 1979, after the line closed in 1976. Looking north-east from the site of Broadway station c1970; the line is still in regular use at this time. The former stationmaster's house is seen on the right. It shows the layout of the site before the garden of the house was extended towards the platforms. A rudimentary fence runs along the former façade of the station building, whose foundations can just about be seen next to the trackbed. The walls of the horse dock are still visible, but the down platform has been reduced to a grass-covered mound.

In the foreground is the bridge over the Evesham road (former A46) and between the pines in the background is the site of the passenger station, completely demolished. is in the foregound. Photo by Graham Holman from his Flickr photostream A load of infill material arrives at the northern end of platform 2, under construction in January 2014. The little shed was built to keep the brick layers dry, after the very wet winter of 2013/14.

Photo by Rob Davidson An artist impression of the new Broadway station building. This watercolour is by well known railway artist Fred Lea. The impression was formed by studying the new drawings of the station building and overlaying the design on photographs of the existing site. the footbridge is not the same as the one that will be use, as it has a stepped deck. The new Broadway bridge will be straight. It was sourced from Henley in Arden.
