Station Name: CASTLE BROMWICHLooking west towards Castle Bromwich station in the 1950s. Directly in front of the photographer is the up goods line. It passed behind platform two (the up platform). Going towards the left are the up main line, the down main line and the down goods line. The lines were all controlled by Castle Bromwich signal box, an LMS structure seen to the left. The station can be seen in the distance.
