Colditz Station Gallery 4:
March 2007 - February 2015

Colditz goods shed in March 2007. A wide canopy stretched over the goods loading dock and road access bays on the east side of the building.

By 2008 the station canopy and all signage has been removed

Track lifting of the goods yard sidings is underway in 2008. From aerial imagery the building was still there in August 2017 but it had been demolished by April 2018.

In 2013 the main cast iron name board which hung below the canopy at Colditz station was removed c2008 and was later acquired by Wiltshire man Guy Walters

Coldits station looking south along the island platform in May 2005. Over the years vegetation has been periodically cleared from the tracks and platforms but it soon returns.

One of the other station buildings at Colditz. This building is adjacent to the main station building and end on to the platform. It's former use is unknown.

There were two signal boxes at Colditz designated W1 and B2. (February 2015)

Colditz B2 signal box in February 2015. Route setting levers and interlocking equipment. It is incomplete and should have an indicator panel about it.There is an annotated (in English) photograph on German Block and Interlocking Principles on web site that explains the eqauipment found in German signal boxes.
