Station Name: COLDSTREAM

Looking south along the line to Kelso from a point about a quarter of a mile south of Coldstream station. In the nineteenth century military camps were situated on the inside of the curve ahead and sidings were provided to serve them, close to the junction with the Wooler and Alnwick line; it is likely that the construction of this line resulted in the removal of the sidings.
