A Lyme Regis train is seen on the sharp curve approaching Combpyne station in August 1961. 84022 was one of a class of 30BR2/2 built at Darlington works in 1957 to a design by Robert A. Riddles. It had a very short life being withdrawn to Crewe works in September 1964 where it was cut
up a month later.
