Standing on the Stanhope & Tyne along the back of Leadgate main street in May 2006. The road in the middle distance turning right went under a low bridge into Bradley Iron Works (Later NCB. No.6 Area Workshops) and Carr House Junction was just past it with the line to Medomsley Colliery bearing
off to the right round the back of the cricket pitch (the area of green between the
fence on the road and the red brick factory unit)
