Craven Arms engine shed in May 1939. In the company of an unidentified LMS 4F is 2612, a Stanier- designed 2-6-4 tank. It entered LMS service on 11.1.1937 following delivery from North British Loco Co. Glasgow. It was renumbered to 42612 by BR when it was shedded at 8A, Edge Hill. It was withdrawn after just over 27 years service on 25.1.1964 from 8C, Speke Junction shed and scrapped by Routledges in July that year.
