NIR 111 Class, General Motors diesel electric loco number 8113, departs southwards in 2003, hauling an enthusiasts special, made up with  a rake of ex Gatwick Express coaching stock. Eight of these coaches were sold to NIR in 2001, for haulage by class 111 locos, however, by June 2009, they had all been withdrawn.

In the early months of 2012 passengers have disembarked from an enthusiasts special, at Crumlin station site, for a photographic stop.
