Shunting at Dyserth in September 1963. The engine is propelling wagons on the sharply curved quarry siding. 45156 was built to the famous William Stanier Black Five design by Armstrong Whitworth in July 1935. It carried the name 'Ayrshire Yeomanry', one of very few Black Fives to be named. With a working life of over 33 years, this loco was one of the last in service, being withdrawn from 10F, Rose Grove shed only a month before steam on British Railways ended and scrapped in December of 1968 at Wards of Beighton.
