Aerial view of Fulbourne station c 2010. The sidings that were laid into the grain silo during WW2 can still be seen embedded in the concrete in front of the building. To the east (top of picture) the siding can be followed to its junction with the down main line. 400 yards of the down line was retained after the line was singled in the 1980. Although the line is still in situ there is no longer a physical connection with the former up line which is still in use. The original WW2 building was refurbished in 1986 and is now owned by S&B
Herba Foods Limited and the plant handles the milling of rice, plus the splitting and polishing of dried peas and lentils for most of the UK supermarkets and food processors.
