[Source: Paul Wright]

Looking east towards Birkenhead from the west end of Bidston station in April 1977 as a Class 503 EMU arrives on a West Kirby service. To the far right can be seen cable drums on wagons. The wagons were standing on the rump of what had been the former GCR goods lines to the Bidston sidings. the sidings closed in 1968.
