A view of the Halton Curve line looking north towards Halton Junction on 13 August 2011. Passing along the line was the summer Saturday only Chester to Runcorn service. At this time there was only one passenger train once per week scheduled to run over the line and that only operated between July and September. The line had become very overgrown by the summer of 2011.
