HAWARDEN BRIDGE

Hawarden Bridge station looking north in November 1980. The station was located on the north side of the bridge after which it was named. To its west lay the Shotton Steelworks complex which it was built to serve. After mass redundancies in 1980 the station saw very much reduced usage.
