HAWARDEN BRIDGE

Looking south towards the Hawarden Bridge from the north end of the station, Hawarden Bridge, which is named after the structure. The station had opened in 1924 to serve an adjacent steelworks. When this picture was taken in March 2011 there was an hourly passenger train service in each direction but very few of the trains stopped at Hawarden Bridge station.
