MEOLS COP TRIANGLE & ELECTRIC CAR SHEDS

Roe Lane Junction in April 1966. The western side of the Meols Cop triangle had closed by this time. The signal arms that had indicated it as a route had been removed. Only the route down the eastern side of the triangle to Meols Cop Junction was available for the Hesketh Park Coal trains and for the electrics that ran into the Meols Cop car sheds. The points that formed the junction
were still in situ.
