The Queen Mary is seen at 44 Berth shed in the Ocean Dock in April 1946. She is seen in wartime grey, and with the big degaussing coil still fitted to stop her setting off the German magnetic mines. The Queen Mary was repainted in Cunard colours by 1947, when she re-entered civilian service
