Galashiels engine shed in May 1956. Seen on shed is 64543, an LNER J37 0-6-0, built for the NBR in 1915 to a Reid design at Cowlairs. Original NBR number carried was 255 until 1925 at the LNER grouping when it was renumbered 9255. Renumbered again in 1946 to 4543, it passed to BR in 1948 and had the number 64543. Withdrawn in December 1962 from 62C, Dunfermline Upper shed, it was scrapped shortly after
