Gilnockie station c.1950s. Built for the LMS at Derby Works, this 2-6-4T No. 42317, was designed by Sir Henry Fowler, entering service on 22.3.1928 with the number 2317. Withdrawn from 20C, Royston Shed on 30.9.65, it was scrapped by Cashmores of Great Bridge in September of the same year
