Gloucester Eastgate station looking north-east in August 1963 In view are two down trains. They are a BR Standard Class 5 4-6-0 on the 16.40 from Birmingham New Street, and a BR Standard Class 7 4-6-2 on a down parcels train. In the distance the line curves round to join the GWR at Tramway Junction off to the right, past the GWR Horton Road Locomotive Depot.
