Haltwhistle goods yard c. 1950s. The loco is a NER G5 class 0-4-4-tank, designed by Wilso Worsdell and built in 1900 and was withdrawn in 1958. Shedded at 52C, Blaydon from 1948 until 1955 when it was transferred to 56A, Sunderland South Dock until withdrawal in 1958.
