60813, with its distinctive 'shovel-rim' smoke deflectors, runs north light engine through Hawick station in April 1958. Built in 1937 at LNER's Darlington works, this Gresley designed V2 was one of 184 locos, 159 of which built at Darlington and the other 25 were built at Doncaster. Passing to BR as 60813, this loco was withdrawn from 62B, Dundee Tay Bridge on 26.9.1966 and cut up by McWilliams, Shettleston in November of the same year
