K3 2-6-0 No. 61885 photographed at Hawick on a grey April day in 1958 with the
11am Niddrie - Canal freight. 61885 was designed by Gresley and built at Doncaster in 1929. This 3 cylinder 2-6-0 lasted until 3.11.1959 when it was withdrawn from St Margarets shed and cut up in January 1960 at Cowlairs works
