Seen on shed in July 1968 are BR Standard class 4 Mogul, 76974 and 64539, an ex NBR/LNER J37. 76974 was built at Doncaster in 1956 and withdrawn from 67C, Ayr on 31.10.1966 to be cut up at Campbells, Airdrie in January 1967. 64539 had a much longer life; designed by Reid and built in 1915, the J37 was a superheated development of the J35 class. It was withdrawn in 1961 and
cut up shortly afterwards.
