A3 Pacific No. 60038 'Firdaussi' waits patiently at Hawick about to restart a train for Edinburgh in early 1960s. Built in 1934 at Doncaster, this A3 Pacific, named 'Firdaussi' was withdrawn from Leeds, Neville Hill shed, 50B on 18.11.1963 and cut up at Darlington in December of that year.
