Just 4 months away from being withdrawn from 64A, St Margarets, this Gresley A3 Pacific named 'Spion Kop' stands in the shed yard at Hawick in June 1963. The loco was built for the LNER in 1929 and numbered 98. Renumbered 2752 in the LNER renumbering, it passed into BR service as 60098 and was based at Kings Cross. It was cut up at BR's Inverurie works in February 1964.
