45236 is seen at Hawick heading north in July 1964 with the 2.12pm Carlisle - Millerhill freight. The loco is a Stanier Black Five. Built in 1936 by Armstrong Whitworth and numbered 5236, it passed into BR service as 45236. It was withdrawn on 31.12.1967 and scrapped by Wards of Inverkeithing in April 1968.
