Station Name: HAWICK (2nd site)

65331 seen in the shed yard at Hawick in September 1959. The loco was built to a design by M Holmes between 1888 and 1900. Rebuilt by Reid and Chalmers, this loco passed into BR service as 65331 and was withdrawn in the mid 1960s. There is one of the class preserved, 673, (BR No 65243) which has been cosmetically restored by the SRPS, and is awaiting funds to return it to working order.
