Looking south at Huskisson Goods Station in 1970. Sandhills Lane can be seen spanning the tracks. The train was a trip working from Edge Hill. The Liverpool University Public Transport Association had been given permission to travel on the train, and it carries their headboard.

In February 1994 the Merseyrail signalling centre opened on the north end of Huskisson goods station. It is seen in this view looking north-east on 1 January 2013.

The east portal of the tunnel that carried the Huskisson goods station - Sandon goods station branch under the former LYR line looking west on 1 January 2013.
