This poster dated from 1953, hence the 'Coronation Kup' marking the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. There were different designs of the 'Kup' with the most famous having scenes of the Gold State Coach and soldiers of the Household Division. The cups and bricks were packed in waxed card but the bricks could be difficult to extract without tearing the box apart. The other products shown were packed in waxed paper or in the case of the Pole a waxed card tube. The price of the 'Mammoth Brick' equates to 7.5p in decimal currency.
