Station Name: KNOTTY ASH & STANLEYLooking south at Knotty Ash & Stanley station in June 1969. The North Liverpool Extension Line was still a double-track railway as far as Walton-on-the-Hill at this time, but in November 1969 it was singled from a point just north of the station.
