Looking north from the southern end of platforms 3 and 4 at Liverpool Central in April 1969. To the right a line running adjacent to the retaining wall can be seen. This originally served a goods loading bay. A colour light signal can be seen on the platform. Liverpool Central first had colour light signals in 1934.
