Working 1X50, the LCGB Crab Commemorative Railtour at Liverpool Exchange station on 8 October 1966 . 42942 is a Hughes/Fowler Crab. Built in December 1932 at Crewe works, it had a working life of over 34 years, being withdrawn from 8H, Birkenhead, Mollington Street on 21.1.1967 and cut up by Cashmores of Great Bridge in October of the same year.
