Working the opening leg of 1T80, the LCGB, (North West Branch) Castle to Carlisle railtour on 14 October 1867 is 92091. This Riddles 9F took the first leg from Liverpool exchange to Preston where 7029, Clun Castle took over. It also worked the last leg of this tour from Hellifield back to Liverpool Exchange. The 9F was built in November 1956 at Swindon Works and allocated to 36A, Doncaster shed until March 1957, when it went to 38B, Annesley shed, to Speke Junction in July, 1965 and finally 10A, Carnforth in May, 1968. One of the last 9Fs to survive into the last year of BR steam, it was withdrawn from Carnforth in May 1968 and cut up by T.W.Ward of Beighton in November of the same year. The Railtour 1T80 had 3 locos, 92091 from Liverpool exchange to Preston, 7029 from Preston to Carlisle, Rome St Junction (Carlisle No.11), Ivatt class 4, 43121 from Rome St circular via Riddings Junction, Floriston and Kingmoor Yard and back to Carlisle, 7029 Carlisle to Hellifield with the 9F taking over the final leg from Hellifield to Liverpool Exchange.
