The Lindburg single-car parcels coach that operated between Liverpool Exchange and Southport Chapel Street stands at the buffers at Liverpool Exchange in the early 1960s. Parcels and luggage could be sent from the stations on the Southport line independently and the parcels coach
was used for this purpose.
