Looking south towards the site of Liverpool Exchange station's platforms 7, 8, 9 and 10 in April 1977. The platforms had been taken out of use in the mid 1970s to facilitate the building of the underground Liverpool Moorfields station. Although it is hard to tell from this picture, at the time that it was taken the station was still open.
