A view looking east on 19 November 2016 from a point that would have been inside the Waterloo Goods station. Dominating the scene is the Great Howard Street bridge which dated from 1849.

Looking north on 19 November 2016 from the location of an entrance that led into Waterloo Goods station from Great Howard Street (click here to see the entrance on a 1924 map). The entrance road was at street level which was higher than track level at this point. It was carried on arches part of which can be seen in this view.

The eastern end of Waterloo Goods station was dominated by the 'Grand Arch' which carried the LYR line over the LNWR station. The arch is seen in this view looking east on 19 November 2016 when the infilled cutting had been partly excavated out.
