A busy scene at Llanymynech station on 24 March 1960. The event was the visit of the 'Stephenson Locomotive Society' Last Train on the Shropshire & Montgomeryshire Railway rail tour. The train had commenced its journey at Shrewsbury Abbey station. It departed from Llanymynech at 4.15pm and it was the last passenger service ever to run on the former Shropshire & Montgomeryshire line.
